Thanks for participating! Grand County Library District's Summer Library Program is designed for people of all ages and abilities and runs through July 31. There is still time to register, participate in activities, and complete the program. If you're in grades K-5 and you've completed your activity log, stop by your local library to pick up an additional challenge to earn a $10 gift card to Granby Ace Hardware! Completion deadline: Saturday, August 16

Grand Lake Book Sale - August 9-10 Looking for a great deal? Purchase books that are almost new for friends and family. DVDs and movies are also available.
Books are for sale all year long at all five library locations and at the Fraser Valley Rec Center, Mid-Town Cafe in Granby, and Grand Lake Recreation/Community Center.

Granby Polhamus Park Saturday, July 19 10-11 a.m. Join our 3rd Annual Grand Storytime Celebration! Stories, songs, and fun! Meet real firefighters and see a fire truck! Foam party in the park to follow! Optional - bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the park after the party.

Hot Sulphur Springs Library Wednesday, July 23 12:30-2:30 p.m. Please join us for our annual Picnic in the Park. Pizza, popsicles, water play, and lawn games. Loads of fun for everyone! Please note the time of this Wednesday program is 12:30 p.m. All ages welcome!

Granby Library Tuesday, August 5 3:30-5:30 p.m. *Registration required Ages 3-Adult Learn about Pop Art, Cubism, and Recycling forms of art with Michael Albert, a celebrated artist and educator known for his innovative approach to art and his dedication to inspiring creativity in others. Albert is the author of an artist autobiography titled, An Artist's America (Henry Holt, 2008) and is nationally known for making collage artworks from cereal boxes and other printed cardboard consumer packages. Hands-on collage workshop to follow Michael's presentation.

Messy Art for All Ages Granby Library Wednesday, August 13 2-4 p.m. Join us for fun and laughter while you make your own messy creations. No rules! Let your imagination play! Put on old clothes (you will get dirty!) Craft materials provided. All ages welcome!

Art Theft Dog Comedy District-wide Event Denise Gard and her dogs, Joey and Kira, put on amazing performances at all locations. Kids also learned some dog safety tips and tricks.

Wildfire Documentary Fraser Valley Library Special thanks to Grand County Wildfire Council and sponsoring agencies for using the library to showcase the PBS documentary, "Weathered: Inside the LA Firestorm."

Paint & Sip Night Out District-wide Event Special thanks to Victor D'Agostino with Red Planet Productions for guiding our group of painters. It was a lovely evening!

Vegetable Gardens Juniper Library The gardens are ready for harvest. Come to Grand Lake, harvest some lettuce or other greens, and enjoy a freshly made mountain salad!

Patriotic Storytime Granby Library Storytime themes this summer have been all about color, movement, songs, and fun! This group made patriotic crafts at Polhamus Park in July.

Pokémon Club Granby Library Kids continue to enjoy trading cards and getting together to play games this summer. The club is active at Granby and Hot Sulphur Springs Libraries.

Dino O'Dell District-wide Event People of all ages had a blast learning about the seven continents on our beautiful planet earth. Songs, stories, and movement kept everyone smiling, and laughing!
