Keeping All Our Ducts In A Row
If you visited the Library in the past few days, you may have discovered that
we experienced several building and technical issues this week. Thank you
for bearing with us while we get back up to speed.
  • Our phone system was out of order on Tuesday. It was restored late in the afternoon that same day.
  • Our HVAC system is not working. The Jahn Room is overly warm, and the  East Room is very cool. Repairs are still ongoing and may take awhile to fix.
  • Our roof is being resurfaced. The fumes from the materials used by the roofing crew permeated the building and caused a few staff members to feel sick. The roof repairs will continue into the next week or so. We are hoping they will be finished soon, but until they are done, the fumes may affect different areas of the building.
Special thanks to the City and their contractors for their
work to restore us to a fully functioning facility!
