The Margin Project

Guess what? You can totally write in these YA books! Here's how it works: when books have a special sticker affixed you should feel free to add notes or doodles (keep 'em clean!) while you read. Then pass the book along to another reader and see what they have to say as they read. Look at that- books just became social, since it's like a traveling book club!  These books can be found in the teen area next to the new YA books.

Brownie Mix Recipe

For your Thanksgiving meal, volunteer to make brownies for your families to enjoy! There is no Zoom meeting for this project, just enjoy! Pick up the supply kits on November 23rd or after.

Holiday Cards

We will be making holiday cards for our December 7th volunteer project! For it to count as volunteer hours for school, we will meet on Zoom and then you must turn in your cards to the library to be later delivered to the hospital.

Ornament Crafts

Learn how to make a few holiday ornaments that would be great for your tree or to give as a gift! We will meet on Zoom on December 15th at 6:30 pm.

This program originally was going be in-person at the library but has been adapted to a supply kit.

Among Us Grab & Go

Be on the lookout for the announcement later this week for our newest Grab & Go kit! There will be supplies to make two imposters and will include one of the treats found in the picture.

Gratitude Jars

Having an attitude of gratitude is always important, especially during these trying times. Our TAB group made these gratitude jars last week. Our teen librarian, Nancy, is very grateful for YOU- the Byron teens!
