Tax-Aide with AARP* Friday, February 27, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm AARP/RSVP Tax-Aide is offering free tax return preparation for the upcoming tax season at the Independence Public Library. There is no age limit or income limit, but they cannot process for those who had rental income, have a K1 form, sold cryptocurrency, or are a pastor. Appointments are required. To make your appointment, call (319) 334-1019 weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm or schedule your own appointment at www.vccv.org/taxaide. If schools have been canceled, the tax service will not operate that day and you will need to call to reschedule your appointment. |
