Summer is in full swing! Beat the heat at the library with our events and programs. We hope you are in our summer reading clubs because the last days to register for our Youth Summer Reading and Adult Summer Reading are July 20th and July 27th. Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under (children must be accompanied by an adult). More information is below. The library will be closed Thursday, July 4th for Independence Day. The library will close at 2 PM on Friday, July 19th in preparation for our Summerween Library Fundraiser. Those who dare to enter this after-hours event will enjoy food, witch's brew for kids (and drinks for the 21 and up crowd), crafts, activities, giveaways, face painting, an escape room, a scavenger hunt, a costume contest, and candy. Join us for spooky fun! All proceeds benefit the Palm Harbor Library.

Join the PH Fire Rescue Team and the library staff for our annual hose down at Palm Field across from the library. Carpool in together, wear your swimsuits and water shoes, and bring a towel for a wet and wild morning! We'll be enjoying 30 minutes of water spray. Come early at 10 AM for a special life jacket giveaway while supplies last! This program will be canceled in the event of lightning. Length of program is not guaranteed. Extra Parking available at J. Stephen Putnam Park and Saints Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Greek Orthodox Church.

It's a Mystery Cozy Book Talk Tuesday, July 9, 4:00 - 5:30 PM Conference RoomEveryone reads their own choice of Cozy Mystery and comes prepared to share their choice. There is a featured Cozy author handout to hopefully give you more choices!

Conference Room Come join other photographers for coffee, tea, and snacks as we talk cameras and photography. We'll also talk about some photography contests that are going on and how to make maquettes and zines.

Made possible by the Friends of the Palm Harbor Library, the Fiction Writing Workshop is an adult creative writing program for all experience levels. Writers will give and receive supportive feedback to encourage each other to progress on drafts, try new things, and experiment with their process.

Enjoy an hour of art-related stories and an art activity. Admission to the museum is free, but a $5 suggested donation is appreciated to cover the cost of art materials.
