The Beautiful

β€œI read my eyes out and can't read half enough…. The more one reads the more one sees we have to read.”
~John Adams, in a letter to his wife Abigail Adams (1794)

On July 4th we celebrate Independence Day. Like many indelible concepts, this celebration is a beautiful dichotomy. We honor our own individual independence, as well as our unification as a collective people in one nation. The Palm Harbor Library (PHL) offers similar dual paths. This July, you can connect with your friends, family and community in numerous ways such as with author events, STEAM programming for youth, teen trivia and a fantasy-world themed prom, writing workshops for adults, a visit to the Friends of the Library bookstore, and our very first Summerween for all ages… or, you can step through the looking glass and declare your independence immersed in the world of a good book. No matter which path you choose on any given day, PHL is here to help you get there!
