We the Readers Registration Required On the 250th anniversary of landmark constitutional documents, explore their intellectual origins by “reading what the Founders read." Readings for this meeting will focus on how Ancient Roman writings strengthened the resolve of American revolutionaries, including stories of the fall of the Roman republic and rise of the imperial order, Roman life under one-man rule, and stoic martyrs for liberty.
