Check out our used book & DVD sale! We'll start with a preview sale on Friday afternoon, March 6, and continue through the weekend and until closing time on Monday, March 9. Many thanks to the MRSPL Foundation, whose support funded our moveable book sale shelves and whose volunteers help with the book sale setup and staffing.

The League of Women Voters Falls Church (LWVFC), Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation, and MRSPL present a Women's History 101 Virtual Talk by Dr. Emily Krichbaum from the National Women's History Museum speaking on the role of African American Women in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. In the 20th century, African American women formed the backbone of the modern Civil Rights Movement.

On the 250th anniversary of landmark constitutional documents, explore their intellectual origins by “reading what the Founders read." Readings for this meeting will focus on how Ancient Roman writings strengthened the resolve of American revolutionaries, including stories of the fall of the Roman republic and rise of the imperial order, Roman life under one-man rule, and stoic martyrs for liberty.
