Winter Reading Challenge Results
The results are in! Participants of the 2020 Winter Reading Challenge read a total of 73,831 minutes. This equals over 1,230 hours of reading! This year's program challenged community members to read one hour a day for two weeks. Participants received a prize for signing up and a completion prize for reading the minimum 14 hours. Great job, Carson City!

For ages 14+, ages 10-13 can attend when accompanied by a certified premiere card holder. Ideas become reality with your Premiere card in the makerspace! Want to learn how to use a 3D printer or sewing machine? Get certified on equipment and work on projects during open hours! Visit CarsonCityLibrary.org/use/capital-makers.htm (1) Complete an online test with a score of 80% or higher for the equipment you want to use. (2) Schedule an in-person certification appointment. (3) Work on projects during open hours. A Premiere card is required. Certification on equipment is required.
