Each session is a journey through themed stations that stimulate children’s senses and curiosity while promoting early literacy, cognitive development and improving social skills. Baby Time!

A lapsit for our littlest patrons! Join us for songs, fingerplays, stories, and whatever else we can fit into our 20 minute session designed specifically for babies 15 months and younger. This program will take place in the Chase Room. In the event the Chase Room in unavailable, we will meet in the Picture Book room. There is no registration required to attend!
Rhyme Time Tuesdays: March 3rd, 10th, 24th, and 31st at 10:30 AM
Ages 16 months - 3 years Registration Required Stories, songs, music and rhymes! Join us for an action packed storytime session best suited for children ages 16 months to three years. This program will take place in the Chase Room. If the Chase Room is unavailable, we will meet in the library!
Move and groove with Miss Carol! Enjoy an action packed 45 minutes of music, dancing, songs, and stories! This class will take place in the Chase Room.We accept registration from anywhere, but should the class fill, Madison cardholders will receive priority. Please register each child individually.
Peace Play Storytime Yoga Friday, March 13th at 10:30 AM Ages 2-5 Registration Required In these engaging classes, the books we read come to life as we slither like snakes, hop like frogs and bark like dogs. Through songs and stories we bend, stretch, breathe and move while having fun learning yoga poses. This class will take place at the library in the Picture Book Room! Please register each participant separately.

Did you know that playing serves an important role in developing early literacy skills? Playing builds imagination as well as develops the same part of the brain used while reading. During Play Time, we will have extra toys out in our play area to encourage free play and socialization for both littles and their guardians. This program will take place in the library! During each session, we will explore a new science concept together through stories and preschool sized STEM activities. This program will take place in the Chase Room! Please register each child individually.

If we have extra time, we may do another Valentine-themed project! Pokémon Club

Interested in all things Pokémon? Join our brand new Pokémon Club! This one hour open session will offer several ways to engage with everyone's favorite pocket monsters, from art to trivia and even an opportunity to play Pokémon TCG! Bringing your own card collection is allowed though not necessary. No registration is required, just drop in! Do you want to get creative? Join us for a fun bookmark-making program where kids can create and design their own unique, personalized bookmarks. We'll provide the supplies—you provide the imagination! This program celebrates creativity while encouraging a love for reading. This program will take place in the Chase Room. Teen Art Break

Stop by the Teen Room after school to take a break and do a fun craft. We will be making wire bookmarks and macrame rainbows.
