Topic to be discussed include: the origins of Artificial Intelligence as a discipline within Computer Science; the first debates surrounding its creation; breakthrough AIs like ELIZA, Watson, Deep Blue, AlphaGo, and ChatGPT; and a brief look at how modern generative AIs actually work.
