Best for ages 2-5, kits include two animal puppets, rhythm instruments, activity scarves and a copy of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Kits are generously provided by First 5 Alameda County, and are available while supplies last. Request your kit by filling out a short form.

Take & Make kits are available for pickup starting on Saturday, March 13 between 1:00pm-4:00pm from the Main Library, 300 Estudillo Ave., while supplies last. Picking up a hold? You can also request a kit when making your pickup appointment (use the notes field to request a self-portrait or a flower crown art kit).

Main Library Window Display
March is Art Is Education month, and the Library will continue our long tradition of displaying SLUSD student artwork. Artwork from Garfield, Jefferson, Madison, McKinley, Monroe, Roosevelt, Washington, and Wilson students will be displayed in the windows of the Main Library, 300 Estudillo Ave, for outside viewing from March 10 to April 5. Thanks to SLUSD Art Specialists Sam Miller, Nita Nowakowski, Suzanna Pena, Nichole David, Ms. Mazzy, and Bryan Farley for providing the artwork.
