Curbside Pickup Update Please note that we are experiencing a backlog of holds to process which is extending the wait time for holds to become available for checkout. We appreciate your patience. With the surrounding wildfires, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in San Leandro is expected to fluctuate between Yellow/Moderate to Red/Unhealthy, and possibly even Purple/Very Unhealthy. Please note that, because Contactless Curbside Pickup is an outdoor operation, when the AQI reaches above 151+/Red, the Library must temporarily suspend service at the Main Library to limit exposure to poor air quality for patrons and staff. As this is an evolving situation, please check our website and/or the AQI to verify whether or not we are open before you travel to pick up your materials. You can also call (510) 577-3971 for an air quality status update.  |

Expanded Hours for Virtual Reference Library staff are available six days a week to answer your questions, help you find books and DVDs, and place items on hold for you. Our new hours are: - Monday-Thursday from 10am-8:00pm
- Friday-Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm

Book drop reopeningThe Main Library book drop has new hours for returning your materials. The book drop is now open every Wednesday at 9:00 am through Friday at 5:00 pm. Due date extensions All due dates on checked out library materials have been extended out to October 24, 2020. |
