SLPL Mobile App: All the Content You Love In One Place Did you know the San Leandro Public Library has its own mobile app? You can check your library account, view our library calendar, search for books and place holds, and more! The app is free to download and will connect to your library account giving you access to a digital library card! Search for “San Leandro Public Library” in the Apple App store and Google Play store.

Main Library Bookdrops Open for Returns The bookdrops at the Main Library (300 Estudillo Ave.) are now open 24/7 for your returns. Library items that are returned during that time will remain on patron accounts for at least 7 days as the materials will be “quarantined” in the bookdrop room to prevent the potential spread of the coronavirus.

Due Dates Extended The Library has extended the due dates on currently checked out library materials to Saturday, February 27, 2021. The Library is not assigning overdue fines on library materials at this time because of the Stay-At-Home order issued by the Alameda County Health Officer.

Black History Month Read-In For Teens and Adults February 1-28 Join us for our first Black History Month Read-In! Read books by Black authors, write reviews and watch movies about Black history throughout the month and earn tickets for a chance to win prizes! Join us in celebrating and enjoying Black stories. This challenge is for teens and adults.

Career Online High School offers adults (19 years old and older) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and gain career skills in one of eight employment fields. Project Teen Lounge Funded by a grant from the California State Library, we are excited to offer virtual after-school programming for teens in grades 6-12. Programs offer teens opportunities to learn from local artists, engage in life skills workshops, connect with a variety of professionals around college/career planning, complete STEM/design projects, and build teamwork skills through collaborative gaming.
