Sula by Toni Morrison"One of my New Year's resolutions has been to spend some time with the classics. I kicked this off by reading Sula by Toni Morrison and was blown away. I hadn't read any Morrison since high school and am now anxious to read more! Sula follows a pair of friends from their childhood in the town of "the Bottom" through adulthood. The characters, including the minor characters, leave a strong impression and stay with you long after you finish the last page." -Angelica, Adult Services

"If you love a good, classic melodrama, you'll enjoy this new movie. Set in the late 1950s, Sylvie's Love follows the romance between an aspiring Jazz musician and an ambitious young woman. I loved the music, setting, wardrobe and the romance. The pace and mood reminded me of classic Hollywood movies. Plus, the casting is great! Currently only available on Amazon Prime but hoping it gets released on DVD." -Angelica, Adult Services.
