Great Big Beautiful Life
by Emily Henry

Summary:
Two writers compete for the chance to tell the larger-than-life story of a woman with more than a couple of plot twists up her sleeve in this dazzling and sweeping new novel from Emily Henry. Alice Scott is an eternal optimist still dreaming of her big writing break. Hayden Anderson is a Pulitzer-prize winning human thundercloud. And they're both on balmy Little Crescent Island for the same reason: To write the biography of a woman no one has seen in years-or at least to meet with the octogenarian who claims to be the Margaret Ives.

Solid Air (2009)
by John Martyn

"Discovering the music of John Martyn changed my life. I was immediately intrigued by his voice and skill on guitar. I love his songs. My interest in his music has led to many wonderful friendships with other fans and I have been introduced to the work of other great musicians through his many collaborations. Almost his entire catalog is on Hoopla. If there is an era of his music that you don't like, just try another one- he was constantly growing and changing during his 50 year career. It was difficult to choose just one album. I must also recommend One World, Bless The Weather, and On The Cobbles." - Sarah

The Maid
by Nita Prose

Summary:
When she discovers the dead body of the infamous and wealthy Charles Black in his suite, hotel maid Molly Gray finds her orderly life upended as she becomes the prime suspect in the case and is caught in a web of deception that she has no idea how to unravel.

"I read the first book in this series, "The Maid" on a whim soon after I first started working at Handley. I was doing the Winter Bingo Challenge and really trying to push myself to read things outside my comfort zone. I was astonished how much I enjoyed a book I'd randomly picked up.
Molly is "just a maid," but she seems to get herself into all kinds of shenanigans. She has a neurodivergent brain and doesn't think like most people do, which often gets her into trouble in the books, with police suspecting she committed the crime in the first novel. She's such a wonderfully quirky character, and I love how the author uses her differences to showcase how someone who thinks differently than you can actually be beneficial in solving problems. These books are great for a good mystery, a laugh, and a feel-good story!
The newest book in this series, "The Maid's Secret," just came out this month, and it was a wonderful addition. I recommend all three books in the series, plus the Christmas-themed novella that occurs right before the 3rd book!
I read the physical book my first read-through, but the audiobook on my second, and I absolutely adored the narrator, so I'd absolutely recommend doing the audiobook on Libby if you like listening to books." - Alyssa

Kid Krow (2020)
by Conan Gray

Summary:
Kid Krow is Conan Gray's debut studio album. It released in 2020.

"I remember the day this album came out. I was still working at McDonalds, and I listened to this album on repeat for my entire shift. I saw Conan in concert in 2019, and it was awesome. I don't tend to go to many concerts because of the drive and the people, but I'm glad I went because Conan is amazing live! Maniac and Fight or Flight are two of my favorites off of this album." - Nova
