You are a link on our gratitude chain.
Now, what are YOU thankful for?
It's time for us all to stop and reflect on something (or someone) we are grateful for.  Can't narrow it down to just one?  We have plenty of links to put on our gratitude chain!  Stop by the table up front, write down one or two ideas on a strip of paper and we will add them to the chain.  Help us make this our biggest, brightest, most heartfelt display yet as we prepare to celebrate this holiday season.

Playgroup Registration (is almost) Open
Axolotl or llama?  Scary or silly?  Apple or orange? Our weekly polls are super fun and the results can be surprising.  The best part is, registration for our Fall 2 session of Playgroup opens on Tuesday, November 4, which means you and your favorite preschooler(s) can sign up for Preschool Playgroup and take part in our weekly poll!  Preschool Playgroup is a fun, interactive program designed for children ages 3 and up and their caregiver. This 5-week session will begin 11/18 and run through 12/16. Siblings are welcome!  Registration is limited.

World Television Day
Friday, November 21, 2025 is the day the United Nations observes World Television Day.  Back on December 17, 1996, the UN declared that November 21 would be the official day to recognize the power of television and the role it has in imparting information and defining the different issues and viewpoints of the current times.  Don't feel like reading a book?  Now you have a day to celebrate watching television instead. Don't forget snacks!
Peterson's Test and Career Prep
Some of you may have spotted a local librarian or 3 in the AHS Library recently.  We have a fantastic test and career database that we are hoping you will use BUT you do need an Abington Public Library card to access it.  This database has everything from ASVAB practice tests to resume builders.  Need a library card to get started?  Swing by the circulation desk. Need help navigating the Peterson's Test and Career Prep database itself?  Just ask!
