22βIt was September. Autumn only in advertisements. Cartoon orange leaves and red backpacks lining the signs for back to school sales. The warmth whittling down, but still keeping us in short sleeves.β β Kyle Lucia Wu, Win Me Something
We had an amazing time this summer with all of the fun programs, events, and endless hours of reading and we hope that you did as well! Our final totals for summer reading signups (322) and total minutes read (204,210!!!) certainly surpassed all expectations! We are excited to see what next year's Summer Reading Challenge will bring to Holbrook.
Until then, we will be taking a small break from programming in September to have some time to refresh and start planning for the amazing things to come in the months ahead! We wish everyone a Happy Return to School and look forward to seeing you in the library!
