Librarian Mike Corbo will discuss a unique feature from distinct phases of James Island’s history. This month he will discuss the forts and batteries on James Island not named Johnson or Lamar (which he previously discussed), in the first of a two-part series.

Judge Irv Condon teaches an overview of Estate Planning, which is the process of arranging during one’s life the management of the individual’s estate in the event the person becomes incapacitated. Judge Condon provides sample planning documents and will have a presentation and Q&A.

The Movie Zone: Claudine (1974)

Tackling the Stigma Around Substance Abuse with FAVOR Lowcountry

Join partners from FAVOR Lowcountry to learn about the impact of language and stigma on substance abuse prevention and recovery.
 
 
 
Estate Administration 
Thursday, September 25 from 6-7 p.m. 
Judge Irv Condon teaches how to administer or probate an estate. This process involves the management and distribution of a deceased loved one’s estate assets. Judge Condon provides samples and will discuss the County's numerous divisions and services, including our Electronic Filing System, the first of its kind in a South Carolina Probate Court.

Community Pop Up!
Starting September 8th we will be collecting diapers for the Junior League's Diaper Bank. Please drop off new, unopened packages of disposable diapers,  wipes and diaper cream!
