Welcome to Kingston Parker!

My name is Parker Yarasitis (he/they) and I’m your new Teen Librarian at the Kingston Public Library! I grew up just a town over from y’all in Pembroke, and now I live in Plymouth with my boyfriend and his cat Leo. My top two favorite YA books are Darius the Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram and In Utero by Chris Gooch. My favorite genres are horror and science fiction. When I’m not at the library, I can usually be found either drawing or playing tabletop/video games with my friends.

Feel free to stop by the KPL and say hi!

Parker comes to us having served as a Library Associate at the Duxbury Free Library and the Pembroke Library. He also was a Library Associate at Mass College of Art and Design, in Boston.

Parker graduated this past spring with his MILS from Simmons, and he holds a 2023 bachelor’s degree from Mass College of Art and Design. He is a cartoonist and a writer.
