The Secret Garden Closes for Construction at Cumming Library
|

The Secret Garden located behind the Cumming Library is closed until further notice for the installation of an emergency generator, as well as the replacement of the library's roof. The Secret Garden will reopen when construction is complete. Library gardens maintained in partnership with the Forsyth County Master Gardeners are also available at the Post Road Library (Poetry Garden) and the Hampton Park Library (Pollinator Garden) and we welcome your visit.

Virtual Java Programming Course Learn the basics of Java through exercises and projects conducted by Java teaching staff from Teach-Technology Organization, Inc. Previous coding experience is not required. This program is for grades 6 and up. Adult learners are welcome. Advanced registration is required and students are expected to attend all four classes.

Healthy Eating in COVID Times Join health and nutrition experts from Georgia State University to learn how to develop and maintain healthy eating habits during COVID. This is a virtual program and will be hosted on FCPL's GoToMeeting platform.

Hiking 101 will be presented by Reba Brumbeloe, an Interpretive Ranger at Florence Marina and Providence Canyon State Park. Ms. Brumbeloe will discuss proper clothing, necessary gear to bring, safety tips, top 10 tips from the expert, and recommendations on local sites that are great for beginners and local resources for hikers of all levels.
