Christopher Daley presents 1620: The First Year Monday, November 9 @ 7:00 p.m. This is a virtual event and will be held on Zoom. Please call the library (413-789-1550) or click here to register.
As the 400th anniversary of the landing of the Pilgrims approaches, we are proud to host history teacher and lecturer, Christopher Daley as he examines the trials and tribulations of the Pilgrims who landed on our shores in 1620. Mr. Daley will discuss the voyagers' decision to land on Cape Cod; the beginnings of Plymouth Colony; and the early encounters with the Wampanoag people. Mr. Daley has been lecturing all over New England for over 25 years on historical topics of interest. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Bridgewater State University in Political Science and History. He is currently a history teacher in Kingston, Massachusetts.

The Thankful Project This year has been challenging in every aspect of our daily lives. As 2020 comes to a close, we would like to acknowledge the positive and record the things that our community is thankful for. - Materials can be dropped off on the following days: November 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 14. Please drop items in the labeled bin in the library's lobby.
- All craft and holiday supplies must come from a smoke-free home and be clean and in good condition. Items must be in original packaging or clear, plastic bags. Please no food, old paint, or toys. Holiday trees and decorations must be no taller than 3 feet high. Sadly, we cannot accept loose material.
- Please do not leave any items outside the library.
- Shoppers can join us, by appointment, on November 17, 19 and 21 during regular library hours.
- This will be a COVID-19 compliant event. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

Adult Grab and Go Craft Our Adult Grab and Go Craft Bag will feature another two-for-one special.
