Virtual Concert: Homegrown String Band Sunday, November 8 at 2:00pm A family of musicians collaborating in organic fashion with a unique repertoire of original and traditional music, the Homegrown String Band™ brings an American folk tradition into the twenty-first century. Listen to songs by the likes of The Carter Family, The Delmore Brothers, and Jimmy Rodgers, along with a tasty sprinkling of original material inspired by the rural American string band and folk tradition.

Tai Chi for BeginnersSaturdays November 7 and 21 at 7:00pm Learn the fundamentals of Tai Chi and improve strength, balance, coordination, and inner peace. This is a perfect opportunity to experience authentic Tai Chi training, also referred to as 'Meditation in Motion.' Presented by Dr. Gang Huang, the founder of 'Seeking Tai Chi.'

Chair Yoga Thursday, November 12 at 11am Open to all levels of practice and abilities, this gentle class focuses on an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. Although much of the class will be done seated in a chair, the option to practice standing poses to improve balance, strength and flexibility are also included. This class is perfect for stress relief and overall well-being. Presented by yoga instructor Shanti.

Zumba Gold Chair & Chair PilatesWednesdays, November 4 and 18 at 2:30pm Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong. Zumba incorporates easy-to-follow choreography that focuses on range of motion and coordination. Chair Pilates is a mind-body class based on Pilates principles, using the chair for support and balance as well as various fun props, and incorporating breathing, stretching and strengthening for the whole body! Make & Take Craft: Card Making KitPick up at the library the week of November 15-21 We'll give you everything you need to create four greeting cards at home! The kit will include: sample photos and instructions, 4 blank cards and envelopes, adhesive, stamped messages, and a variety of embellishments in different colors: papers, ribbons, and more! Everything is pre-cut, so no additional supplies are needed unless you choose to use them.
