Find the bees wearing backpacks hidden around the Youth Department to discover the answer to the riddle. Then stop by the Youth Desk for a prize and put your name on an apple to hang up!

The concerts + Food Truck Rallies are the 2nd Wednesday of each month, May - October, 4pm - 9pm. Free admission! Food truck and music lineup will be posted on the Royal Oak Farmers Market Facebook and Instagram accounts monthly. Watch for more details. Concerts are held in the West parking lot of the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Bring a chair. Plenty of space for food trucks, seating for eating and the stage for music performance. If it looks like rain, we will move everything inside the Farmers Market. Event happens rain or shine!

Are you looking for an easy way to connect with your child this summer? Local children's Author and Illustrator, Amy Nielander, will coach families on how to sketch fun characters using her CREATE A CHARACTER activity sheets! Parents and kids will draw together, stretch their creativity, practice resilience and build trust.
This workshop emphasizes connection, communication and innovation. We hope you'll join us!

Join Jessica Gibbs from Nature's Playhouse for a fun collaboration of her stroller fitness class followed by a story. This fitness class is a total body program that caregivers can do with their babies or little ones riding in a stroller, or with older kids riding a bike or scooter alongside. The class will include intervals of body weight strength exercises and cardio. All levels of experience are welcome! Dress in comfortable clothing and meet at 10:00 am on the library terrace.
After the class, please join us in the auditorium for a story. Blankets and snacks are welcome!

You do not need to register for this program - it is first-come, first-served. What better way to end summer reading than with a FOAM party?! Join us on the lawn of Centennial Commons at 4pm for two large cannons of foamtastic fun. Bathing suits and towels are welcome but not required. Shoes should be worn.
A waiver must be signed for participation. The waiver is located on the right-hand side under attachments. Please bring it on the day of the event.

Published authors and artists of extremely relatable content, you've more than likely seen both of their works in your jaunts around the internet. Sarah Anderson is the New York Times Bestselling author of Sarah's Scribbles, Fangs, and Cryptid Club. Her comics are semi-autobiographical and follow the adventures of herself, her friends, and her beloved pets. Reza Farazmand is the New York Times Bestselling author of Poorly Drawn Lines, and its delightful ilk, as well as City Monster. Poorly Drawn Lines was recently featured in the fifth season of FXX's Cake. Selections of both authors' books will be sold at the event by Sidetrack Bookshop.
