Would you like to set up an email account? Do you want to download an eBook? Need help searching for and applying for jobs? Tech help appointments are now available. Appointments last up to 1 hour. Salina Library Writing Group Wednesday, April 19 at 6:30 pm Hone your writing skills or learn to write for various media. Facilitated by Debbie Stack, local author, editor, and TV scriptwriter, this group is a great way to get feedback and share questions and ideas. For adults 18+. Please register.

Booktown: Waterfalls Monday, April 24 at 4:00 pm A gathering for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We'll read and discuss books; April's topic is Waterfalls. Bring your own books on the monthly topic or books will be available. Booktown is a fun way to make friends in your community and work on your reading and listening skills. Registration is required as space is limited; each person who will be in the room must register. Masks are required. For adults 18+ accompanied by a friend or family member.

Dungeons & Dragons on Roll20: Sponsored by Salina Library Happening Now Would you like to play D&D online? From the novice to the level 20 player, all are invited to join the Roll20 virtual tabletop game! If you’d like to DM, you can run a game or learn how to do it from an experienced Dungeon Master. Early Learners Story Time Wednesdays, 11:00 AM – April 5, 12, 19, & 26 Get your child ready for school! With stories, rhymes, songs, and crafts, your child will learn important early literacy and social skills in an environment suited to their developmental needs. No registration required. We will be meeting in our community room, following COVID precautions. For children ages 2-4 years old, with accompanying adult. Feel free to pick up a monthly Storytime at Home Kit for coloring pages, a craft, sticker, as well as songs and rhymes to join along with Miss Monica -- or create your own storytime -- from home! Salina Teen Warriors Tuesday, April 11 at 4:30 pm Are you a teen in grades 6-12 who loves the library and wants to give back to the community? Pick up an application at our circulation desk to join our Teen Advisory Group, the Salina Teen Warriors! Members will be helping to brainstorm and create activities for the library, and more! Family Art Show: Peep Diorama March 20-April 29 Families are invited to create a diorama on a theme of your choosing, using Peeps! Kits will be available starting Monday March 20, containing a box, Peeps and miscellaneous decorating supplies. Families are encouraged to create a scene together using the box and materials, along with any supplies from home. Bring the diorama back to the library with a title and description of the scene and it will be displayed in the Children’s Area during the month of April. To pick up a kit, stop by the library or set up a Curbside Pickup appointment by calling us at 315-454-4524.
