Meet us in the Children's library for a special story time where books come to life through American Sign Language! Children will enjoy a read-aloud that is also signed, helping them see how stories can be told with both voice and hands. After the story, kids will learn a few beginner ASL signs in a fun, simple mini-lesson perfect for little learners. This program encourages curiosity, communication, and inclusivity—everyone is welcome! For children ages 3 years to 7 years old. Join us for a weekly hour of story time, activities and snacks. These classes support brain development and social skills, and are led in Spanish. Wednesdays, 10:30-11:15AM We are excited to invite families to our early literacy story times. Designed for all ages, we will enjoy stories, songs, and action rhymes. Sitting still is not a requirement for storytime. Young children can reap the benefits of storytelling and songs even while wandering. Con gran emoción deseamos invitar a todas las familias a nuestra hora de cuentos. Disfrutaremos de historias, canciones y juegos que combinan las rimas con el movimiento. Get ready to explore, experiment, and discover! Join us every first and third Tuesday afternoon for a hands-on science workshop at the library. Each session features engaging activities and experiments led by a high school apprentice from the Aspen Science Center apprenticeship program. Kids will dive into fun projects in science, technology, engineering, and math — building curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills along the way. Free and all materials will be provided. Designed for kids ages 6-12. ¡Prepárate para explorar, experimentar y descubrir! Acompáñanos durante el primer y tercer martes del mes por la tarde, en un taller práctico de ciencia en la biblioteca. Cada sesión presentará actividades interesantes y experimentos guiados por un aprendiz de la escuela media superior, como parte del Programa de Aprendizaje de Aspen Science Center. The ‘Move with Me’ Program is designed to introduce littles (18 months to 3 years plus a caregiver) to the joys of dance. Using fun, interactive music, props, and make-believe, we will practice listening to music, following directions, and moving our bodies to the beats! A healthy snack will be provided. El programa ‘Move with Me’ está diseñado para introducir a los peques (de 18 meses a 3 años de edad, con una persona adulta a su cuidado) a la alegría de bailar.
