Valentine Button Art, February 7, 2:00 p.m.
An introduction to button art crafts with a Valentine's Day project. Button art allows you to bedazzle almost anything for fun, whimsical, or detailed decor. This easy and fun craft uses buttons, beads, and gems of varying sizes and shapes to create a whimsical heart shaped door hanger. Cover the entire heart with buttons and beads or use scrapbook paper and buttons to create a collage look. Ready made bows will be provided for added flair. We will provide the 11 inch wood heart shape and all other supplies. Colors of buttons and beads include pink, red, white, and purple. Complete your door hanger with ribbon or twine for hanging.
Adventurers 14 years old and older are invited to play Dungeons & Dragons -- the world's most popular table-top role-playing game on February 8 at 2:00 p.m.Danger and chaos have descended upon the small village of Whellwich. It is up to you and your team of adventurers to get to the bottom of it! Join Dungeon Master Meagan on a quest to save the villagers! This is a one-shot D&D adventure that will only take one session. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Light refreshments will be available.

Chess players of all levels can play with other students! Basic knowledge of the game is required. Play for fun and practice to improve skills. Players up to age 18 are welcome.
2026 marks a century of national commemorations of Black history started as a week of recognition by Dr. Carter Woodson and associates. On February 10, 1976, during the United States Bicentennial, President Gerald Ford became the first president to issue a message recognizing Black History Month. Then in 1986, Congress passed a law designating February as Black History Month. For the 100th anniversary we're having a fun, hands-on journey through history.
Clairehelps the library at least 2 hours a week. She works on special projects. She says three positive words to describe her are: curious, creative, and smart. Her favorite place to visit is Montana. In the future she would like to be an author.
Our Junior Librarian Program allows tweens and teens to gain skills and earn over 100 volunteer hours as they help the library with tasks.
