Library Data Outage

On the evening of Friday, January 9th, a power spike damaged library server equipment. Though the servers have been repaired and restored, all circulation data from the 9th has been lost. This means items that were returned and checked in by staff have reverted back to their Thursday status, including checkouts. Staff are working to re-scan items now.
Library cards that were issued were also affected. Patrons who were issued library cards on January 9th are encouraged to email or come in if possible, so we can reinstate your library card. If you opt for email, please include your name, address, phone number, and date of birth in the email, as well as the library card number you were given.
Our online catalogue is currently only working intermittently inside the building.
Our Digital Branch, including Libby and Hoopla were also affected. At this time, patrons may be unable to use these services.
We are working diligently to re-update circulation data and get everything back online, but this is not a quick process. This outage affects thousands of items. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time. Please keep in mind notices may go out for overdue items that you already returned, but we never charge late fees, so if you receive a notice but are confident the item was returned, know that it will be removed from your account as soon as we are able. Thank you.
