Get ready to be inspired this April! The Los Gatos Library is thrilled to host a special reading featuring the winners of this year's Poetry Contest. Join us on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM in the Fireplace Room to hear talented local poets share their winning submissions. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in the Youth (up to 12), Teen (13-19), and Adult (20+) categories. All finalists are invited to participate in this celebratory reading. This event is organized and judged by Los Gatos Poet Laureate, William Ward Butler. Narcan Training at the Library April 8 & 22, at 11:00 AM. Stop by the Los Gatos Library every other Tuesday to be trained in how to use Narcan. This training will be a short training on how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the naloxone.

Online Author Talk with Matthew Fleming April 7 at 4:30 PM. End your week on a calm note at the library as we explore mindful doodling. No drawing experience is necessary; we'll be using simple lines and shapes to fill our journal pages.

In-Depth Introduction to TarotApril 13 at 1:00 PM. Registration Required. In this class we will be teaching everyone about the art of tarot, a selection of 78 cards that seem to perfectly encapsulate the human experience. In these classes we will learn about the history of Tarot and how it can be used to provide insight into our daily lives.
