Join the Los Gatos Library Reading Challenge this Summer! Get ready for an adventure this summer at the Los Gatos Library. Our annual Summer Reading program is back, and it's bigger and better than ever.
We have partnered with local Los Gatos business like Icing on the Cake, Regale Winery, Baja Fresh, Automobuild, Petroglyph, Easy Breezy, Erik's Deli, Pizza California, and the Friends Bookstore to include some amazing prizes for kids and adults. This year's theme, "Adventure Begins At Your Library," promises to take you on an exciting journey of exploration and discovery. We've lined up a fantastic array of events and activities to keep you entertained all summer long. From storytimes and crafts for the little ones to book clubs and author talks for adults, there's something for everyone. Nature Walk with Grassroots Ecology June 9, at 1 PM. Registration Required. Learn about redwood ecology from local experts. Join your community in a beautiful redwood forest and explore the magic of the redwoods. Use the code "losgatoslibrary" to when you register.

Yell Less, Connect More June 12, at 5PM . Discover powerful mindful parenting strategies to break the yelling cycle and foster increased harmony at home. In this 60-minute session, we’ll explore key topics such as the importance of slowing down the urge to yell, techniques to calm your nervous system, and identifying triggers that lead to yelling.

Pop U Bug Museum with the Beetlelady June 18, at 2 PM. Join Stephanie Dole, Beetlelady, at her Pop-Up Bug Museum! This is an excellent and fun exhibit for people of all ages to drop-in at their leisure. Learn more about bug science with accomplished entomologist Stephanie Dole through fun exhibits and displays.

Free Bike Repair June 27, 1 PM. We want to see more families riding their bikes! That’s why we’ve invited the BikeMobile back to provide free tune ups & repairs for parents and children. The BikeMobile can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears, and even replace broken or worn out parts like chains, seats, and tires.

Bingo Night June 27, at 4:30 PM. Join us at the library for BINGO NIGHT! Come for some fun, and with a chance to take home some prizes. It's a great opportunity to socialize with fellow community members and make new friends over an exciting game.
