Librarian Breanna here!

We had a really wonderful discussion last night about Gaudy Night by Dorothy L. Sayers, the most acclaimed title in her Lord Peter Wimsey series. Turns out quite a few of our members have read this before and it's a favorite! For most of us new to the book, we found the historical insights great, but it's readability as a mystery a bit slower to get into. Thank you everyone for sharing your insights!

Next month we'll be chatting about The Witch Elm by Tana French. Tana French is an author who I have gone back and forth with on whether or not I'm a fan of her writing. I can say with certainty though that this book of hers is my favorite from her! Can't wait to talk about it with you all!

If you have any questions you can respond to this newsletter, or you can e-mail me at bhomrighausen@losgatosca.gov
