Pascal Lee : Moon Landing Wednesday, June 19, 6 PM Pascal Lee, planetary scientist, co-founder of Mars Institute at NASA, investigator of the Haughton Mars Project, and children's book author, will be at our library to share some history for children and adults on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. Celebrate the universe with us this summer at this event!

California Native Plant Society: Creating a Bee-Friendly Garden Wednesday, June 5, 6 PM We all know about the European honeybee, but what about the native bees that live here in the Santa Clara Valley? These local insects help pollinate your ornamental and edible plants, too! Once you know what to look for, you’ll learn to recognize over a dozen bee species that live in our urban setting ̶ especially among locally-growing native plants.

Bojagi Gift Wrap Tuesday, June 11, 6 PM Artist Youngmin Lee will do a presentation on the Korean bojagi wrapping cloth, and then teach us how to make one ourselves using silk cloth from Korea.
