'Five Nights
at Freddy's'
Escape Room
Planned Dec. 4
 
Youth, ages 10-18, are invited to participate in a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” escape room inside the auditorium at Rodman Public Library on Thursday, December 4.
 
During the event, participants will be solve a number of puzzles or complete tasks to escape the pizza and haunted animatronics.
 
The event will be held between 3 and 5:30 p.m. Those participating must stop by the Information Center at the Main Library or call 330-821-2665, ext. 217 to sign up
for a time slot.

GET CREATIVE
Teen Crafting
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to the Main Library to take part in a Teen Craft program each month. At 4 p.m. on December 9, participants will create "Scrabble art" using the names of family and friends. All materials and supplies are provided for free during the monthly program held on the second Tuesday of each month, thanks to Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required to attend each session.

 Teen Book Club
Meets December 17 
 
Rodman Public Library invites teens,
ages 12 to 18, to join the Teen Book Club, which meets every third Wednesday of the month at 4:15 p.m. at the Main Library.
 
The December session

FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
Tabletop Gaming
 
Tabletop Gaming, a popular all-ages program returns to the Main Library at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2.
 
Each month, a new game will be featured so that patrons can learn a new game. Of course, other games available in the library’s collection will also be available and visitors are always welcome to bring their own games.
 
The free monthly event is held on the first Tuesday of each month. 
 
The aim of the family program is to give area residents an opportunity to gather with others to play their favorite card and board games and make new friends.
 
Light snacks will be offered and no registration is required to attend the monthly program.
 
Although the program is open to players of all ages, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Rodman Chess Club 
 
The popular Rodman Chess Club will be held inside the Rodman Auditorium on from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on December 17. Although it is called a club, the program has no formal membership and is open to all interested in the ancient game of strategy. Players of all ages and levels are welcome to come and go throughout the evening. Several boards are set up in the auditorium and players mingle to find opponents. Chess Club is held on the third Wednesday of each month.
