EARTH HOUR! Earth Hour is Saturday, March 28th, from 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM! 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Earth Hour, organized by WWF (World Wildlife Fund). Join the movement to raise awareness of climate change by turning off your lights and unplugging "vampire" electronics. WWF encourages doing something you love that also benefits the Earth during this hour, such as: - hosting a candlelit dinner - planting/gardening - playing board games - hosting an eco-friendly gathering or clean up - taking a nature walk

.Beyond the Books: Toronto Zoo Pass We are so thrilled to announce that we have a Toronto Zoo pass available for loan for Ramara Library card holders! The pass covers 2 adults and up to 4 kids, ages 3-15 (ages 2 and under are free) with a loan period of 7 days. The library card holder must be present with the pass for entry, which does not cover parking or Zoomobile fees. Patrons can place their own hold on our website. All holds are first come, first served. No pre-booking for certain time periods available. You must pick up passes within 48 hours after being notified that it is ready to borrow. We thank the Friends of the Ramara Public Library and Ramara Quilting Club for sponsoring this pass for all locals and families to enjoy! Save over $100 with every visit.
