2025 is bringing big changes to the Dedham Public Library!

We’ve welcomed two new Library Assistants, Kathleen Duncan and Kevin Kwok, as well as a new Children’s Librarian, Jenny Durant, in the past few months.

After 17 years at the DPL, Director Amber Moroney has accepted the position of Management Analyst; over the next month, she will move into her new role at the Town Manager’s office. In addition to her Master’s of Library Science from the University of Kentucky, Amber recently earned an Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Syracuse University. During Amber's tenure at the Library, she was instrumental in implementing the free summer lunch program and community 5k. Please join us in congratulating Amber! We wish her all the best, and luckily, we’ll get to keep her as a DPL patron!
