What's Happening at the Library?
October 2025
From the Director's Desk
I've been reading a lot about libraries lately - from the Great Library of Alexandria to modern public libraries. (I'll share what I've learned later this Winter.) For thousands of year libraries have passed knowledge to the people of their times, and to the people coming after. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us so that future generations can stand on ours. We all get to participate in that great project when we use our local library. In the end, a library is really about the people. It is the people who work and use the library, or hang out in its welcoming environment, who make it special. Thank you for your ongoing support, and I hope to see you at the library in October.
