Mini Hiring Update, Log your Reading Reminder, and DIY Stuffies We have a strong pool of candidates for the open Youth Services Librarian position. While I can't share anymore at this time, I know that whoever we hire for the position will bring exciting new programs and kindness to our community! There is still room in our DIY Moose Stuffy program scheduled for February 14 at 1 pm! Due to space, priority is given to Glen Carbon cardholders. However, I strongly encourage families without a Glen Carbon Library card to join the waitlist. If spaces are still available at the one-week mark, our system will pull families from the waitlist regardless of whether they have a Glen Carbon Library card. Typically, at least one or two attendees will cancel their registrations near the program date. Click here to learn more about the program and to register/add your group to the waitlist. End of month reminders! The Winter Reading Challenge ends Saturday, January 31, so don't forget to log your reading to earn all four dragon packs! Drop in Saturday to make Valentine's for Seniors and cars for hospitalized kids! Best, Aimee Villet Youth Services Director
