Library2Go (Outreach)

We have expanded our outreach program and gave it a name--Library2Go. We have made much needed changes to our Home Delivery program to make it more accessible for those who need it, and we are making strides to get out into the community and connect people to our services.

With our Library2Go van, we can bring the library to your organization, community event, school, home, and more! We offer events and services appropriate for any age. Here are some of the services we can bring to you:
  • Library materials including books, DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks on CD, puzzles, and more depending on your needs.
  • Live technology assistance at your organization to teach how to access and use:
    • Library E-Resources
    • Personal phones, tablets, and laptops
  • A Pop-Up Library event where participants can sign up for library cards and receive information about our services and materials.
  • Fun, educational classes on a variety of topics tailored to your audience that allow them to discover new hobbies and skills.
  • Home delivery to those of any age who are unable to physically travel to the library due to disability, lack of transportation, living situations, or illness. We now offer temporary home delivery services on a 3-month or 6-month basis—perfect for those raising newborns, recovering from surgery, unable to travel during winter, or any other temporary circumstance.
    • Must be a resident of Bridgeport, WV
    • Must have an active library card in good standing
If you are interested in any of the listed services or have an idea for something uniquely tailored for your organization, please contact Angela Spatafore, our Community Engagement Manager, at aspatafore@bridgeportwv.gov or 304-842-8248 ext. 5.
