Peace Dale Library APRIL 13TH - WELCOME BACK! After our winter closure for renovations, Peace Dale is reopening to the public on Monday April 13th! We are so excited to welcome you back, however, the Library remains an active construction site. There may be noise, dust, limited services, & some areas will be unavailable. Room reservations are not available at this time. Kingston & Hale will be returning to their regular winter hours on the 13th, with one exception. Peace Dale will not be open on Saturdays, Hale will remain open on Saturdays 9am-5pm The Annex has served us well and will be closing Friday April 3rd at 1pm, all locations closing at 1pm due to Good Friday. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Robert Beverly Hale Library EVENING KNITTERS & CROCHETERS GROUP TUESDAYS 6-8PM Bring your projects to work on with a community of fellow knitters & crocheters. BOOKMARKS BOOK DISCUSSION THURSDAY APRIL 30TH 7PM Bookmarks, the discussion group at the Robert Beverly Hale Library, meets the last Thursday of the month, September through May. New members are always welcome and books are available at the Hale Library. Tonight's book is The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon.

Kingston Free Library MAHJONG DROP-IN WEDS APRIL 1, 8, 15, & 29 at 11AM-12:30PM Drop by Potter Hall to play mahjong with your group. The library provides two mahjong sets (tiles, dice, pushers, and racks). Your own mahjong set also welcome. Ages 18+, no registration. No formal instruction at this time. Geared for preschool through early elementary. KIDS ART SPOT FRIDAYS 10:30AM Join us for a process art activity where we focus on the joy of creating, not the finished product. Afterward, children can enjoy free-play fun with the library's toy collection. All ages. NURSERY RHYME TIME TUESDAYS APRIL 7th & 14th AT 10:30AM Join us for nursery rhymes, fingerplays, stories, songs, and movement activities. Geared for ages birth - 3 but all are welcome. SPRING STORY YOGA SATURDAY APRIL 18th 10:30AM Join certified “ChildLight Yoga and Mindfulness for Children” instructor, Miss Sharon, for Spring stories, yoga poses, activities, and fun! Geared for ages 3 – 8 but all are welcome. EARTH DAY FUN WITH DR. DAWN WEDNESDAY APRIL 22ND 10:30AM Join Dr. Dawn Cardace and her URI geology students on the library lawn for Earth Day fun! Visit activity stations featuring various geology topics, Earth Day crafts, and lawn games. All ages.

Robert Beverly Hale SENSORY STORYTIME MONDAYS AT 10:30AM Come join all of our storytime friends for stories, songs, and sensory play! Geared for ages 18 months through 4 years but all are welcome. Play and crafts may be messy. LEGO TUESDAYS TUESDAYS 1PM-7:30PM Stop by the Children's Room to build with the library's Lego collection! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Community Event STORY & STROLL AT MARINA PARK WEDNESDAY APRIL 15TH 10:30AM Bundle up and enjoy a Spring StoryWalk®, nature scavenger hunt, and nature activities at Marina Park in South Kingstown (239 Salt Pond Road). This program is geared for ages birth to 8 with a caregiver. Please register HERE When registering, please enter the total number of people in your group (adults and kids combined).
