An Evening of the Blues with Leonardo Gianola Tuesday, April 21, 6:30pm Discover the history of the blues
with acclaimed musician Leonardo Gianola. Beginning with some of the first recorded blues songs, Leonardo illustrates the evolution of this great musical form through to the late 1930s using a combination of narrative and music.

Tuesday, April 7, 6:00 – 7:00 PM John Keast, Advanced Master Gardener and Certified Straw Bale Garden Instructor, will teach you how to get started with Straw Bale Gardening. Straw bale gardens offer many advantages: you spend less time weeding, you can put them anywhere there’s sun, and as raised beds, they’re very accessible. Grow your vegetables, herbs, and flowers in a mobility-friendly way!

April 13-18 Drop off your unused or gently used craft items and get your ticket at the front desk. April 21 The swap is open to ticket holders during open hours. April 22-25 Non-ticket-holders can shop during open hours. EVERYTHING IS FREE

April 25 10am-12pm The Library is celebrating Earth Day by hosting an electronic recycling day. Electro-Cycle will be in our parking lot accepting your old electronics, including computers, cell phones, scanners, and more. Small items should be in a box. A full list of items accepted and not accepted is available online or at the Library.
