How many chameleons can you find at the Pearl Library? Decorate your own chameleon and disguise a piece of art as part of our library! Sharon Donald Art Display Local artist Sharon Donald, a proud native of Pearl, MS, dedicated 25 years to teaching Kindergarten at Pearl Lower Elementary. Sharon has continued to channel her energies through a variety of artistic pursuits, specializing in both woodworking and painting. In addition to her artwork, she enjoys crafting, gardening, and sewing in her spare time, always finding new ways to express her creativity and passion for the arts. We appreciate Sharon for allowing us to display her wonderful art pieces this summer. Congratulations to our Summer "Read Every Day" Challenge Winners! Library Assistant Ryan Powell represented the Pearl Public Library in a smartphone basics presentation at the Pearl Senior Center, continuing his technology basics series. Branch Manager Nancy Claypool spoke about the Pearl Library's programs, resources, and services at the Pearl Kiwanis Club. Nancy also represents the Pearl Library as an active Kiwanian.

Story Times Lapsit Story Time (0-2 Years) Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Join us for Baby Lapsit Story Time, a special program designed for our youngest patrons (0–2 years old) and their caregivers. This cozy, interactive session features rhymes, songs, simple stories, and movement to support early language development and bonding time. Preschool Story Time (3-5 Years) Every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Join us for a fun and interactive Preschool Story Time designed especially for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers! Each week, we’ll explore exciting themes through stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement that spark imagination and build early literacy skills. Peanuts Story Time (Kindergarten- 5th Grade) Every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Calling all curious kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade! Join us for a special Story Time designed just for school-aged readers. Each session features exciting read-alouds, fun group activities, and hands-on creativity — from crafts to games and more! Sensory Story Time All ages and abilities. Enjoy sensory fun alongside stories, laughs, and friends. Allergy-conscious snacks included, followed by a fun craft!
