Meet Our Staff
Featured Staff Member: Paula
Paula is a Circulation Clerk at the Pearl Public Library. Here's what Paula has to say about herself:
Working at the Pearl Library as a part-time Circulation Clerk is my absolute dream job. I grew up in Pearl and really enjoy helping patrons find their requests and finding new authors. I am a Mississippi State Business School Alumna, Class of 1988. I am a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor specializing in Restorative Yoga, which concentrates on the relief of chronic pain and movement issues, restores fascia flow to the body, and relieves stress. I teach yoga twice a month at the Pearl Library, and when not working or teaching yoga, I have a passion for volunteer work.
Fall Book Sale
The Friends of the Pearl Public Library are thrilled to share the wonderful results of this year’s Fall Book Sale! Thanks to the amazing support of our community, the sale was a tremendous success and helped raise valuable funds that will go directly toward enhancing programs, events, and resources at the library.
From bestsellers to hidden gems, hundreds of books found new homes—and every purchase helped make a difference. We are grateful for everyone who donated, shopped, volunteered, and spread the word. Your generosity helps keep our library strong, vibrant, and growing.

Thank you for supporting the Friends of the Pearl Public Library!
Together, we’re building an even better library for our community. 📚💛
