National Poetry Month
National Poetry Month kept us busy at the Pearl Public Library! Thanks to all who joined our poetry program series, including Blackout Poetry, Haiku Making, and a poetry slam!

Pearl Mayor's Annual Easter Egg Hunt 
Ms. Autumn and Ms. Mary had so much fun passing out craft kits at the Mayor's Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Thanks to those who joined us at our table, and also to those who joined our indoor egg hunt that directly followed! 
Pearl Alderman Meeting Visit
Central Mississippi Regional Library System Director Mara Villa Polk and Pearl Public Library Branch Manager Nancy Claypool attended one of the Pearl Alderman meetings to deliver news of continued success at the Pearl Public Library. Many thanks to the city officials for allowing us a space on their docket and for lending an ear to hear about our triumphs. The support the City of Pearl provides the library is one of our most valuable assets. We thank the city for all they do to help us serve our patrons.

Join us for ANY story time session to be entered for a chance to win a pool toy set just in time for the summer! We offer three story time sessions weekly, one special sensory story time monthly, and a mindfulness story time quarterly!

Story Times 
Lapsit Story Time
(0-2 Years)
Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Join us for Baby Lapsit Story Time, a special program designed for our youngest patrons (0–2 years old) and their caregivers. This cozy, interactive session features rhymes, songs, simple stories, and movement to support early language development and bonding time.
Preschool Story Time
(3-5 Years)
Every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Join us for a fun and interactive Preschool Story Time designed especially for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers! Each week, we’ll explore exciting themes through stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement that spark imagination and build early literacy skills.
Peanuts Story Time
(Kindergarten- 5th Grade) 
Every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
Calling all curious kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade! Join us for a special Story Time designed just for school-aged readers. Each session features exciting read-alouds, fun group activities, and hands-on creativity — from crafts to games and more! 
Sensory Story Time 
This is a monthly story time for all ages and abilities. Enjoy stories, sensory activities, and a space to be yourself,
at your own pace. 
LEGO Club 
 Come craft your best LEGO tower to survive our wrecking ball! We offer a wide variety of LEGOs to choose from, with all supplies provided.

Teddy Grahams at the Beach
Looking to snack on tasty Teddy Grahams and enjoy a story? Visit us for Tastetastic, our new edible craft program for kids!
Teen Events: 
Writers in Progress 
Join us for the Writers In Progress group, a writers' group where we can share our work and ideas. Share whatever you're comfortable with. This is a creative space, so no putting other writers down! Ages 13+.

Junk Journaling
Learn how to turn everyday scraps into treasures. All supplies provided, come ready to start your junk journal journey!

A Quiet Year 
We offer a teen game night monthly!

Create a bird feeder and connect with other crafts at our monthly Create & Connect event! This is an adult-only event, all supplies provided! 
Cooking Matters 
The program runs for six weeks and teaches several cooking skills and recipes, generously led by Mississippi State University Extension Services. 
Haircare Health and Help 
Starting your hair-care journey? Want to master the craft? Just taking a peek? No worries! Whatever your skill or texture, we’ve got advice on handling hair!

Rest & Restore Yoga 
Join us for a free, all-levels yoga class at the Pearl Public Library! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this session is designed to help you stretch, breathe, and unwind in a supportive environment.

NovelTea Book Club
