 All CMRLS Libraries and the Administrative Office will be closed Monday, October 12 in observance of the federal holiday. Regular library hours will resume Tuesday, October 13. Digital media and resources can be found 24/7 on our website.  National Friends of the Library Week is October 18-24, 2026! Libraries are so thankful for Friends. Our Friends groups make equipment, books, holiday decorating, refreshments, programs, and more possible in all of the CMRLS Libraries. If you are interested in working with a group to support your Library and better your community, a Friends to Your Library is what you want to be! Annual membership begins as low as $2 for students. Ask the staff at your library for information and become a Friend to your Library. Are you looking for a safe place to celebrate Halloween or Harvest Time with your little ones? NEA Big Read with CMRLS: Stories of Us - Mississippi Dreams Map Stop by and tell us all about your hopes and dreams for your community! Write them down on a sticky note and place them on our Mississippi map display! What is NEA Big Read? The NEA Big Read is a national reading program by the National Endowment for the Arts, run in partnership with Arts Midwest, that funds community-wide reading events built around a selected book. The book chosen for our community is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. These programs are free and open to the public and will continue through the end of the year. We will also be giving away free copies of The Great Gatsby, so stop by and pick up a copy!  |
