CMRLS Libraries and the Administrative Office will close Wednesday, December 31 at 4:00 p.m. and remain closed throughout January 4 for the New Year's holiday. Regular library hours will resume Monday, January 5.
 
 
CMRLS Libraries will also be closed Monday, January 19 for the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. Regular library hours will resume Tuesday, January 20.

Family Night
 
Family Movie Night 
 Family Movie Night will be on Thursday, January 8, at 6:00 p.m. We will be watching Marvel's Thunderbolts*. The movie is rated PG-13, and the runtime is 126 minutes.  The library will not have refreshments on hand, but you may bring your own refreshments. 
 
Family Craft Night
Family Craft Night will be on Thursday, January 15, at 6:00 p.m. We will be using beads to create a beautiful necklace. Supplies are limited, so if you are planning on coming to the program, please reserve your spot by calling the Richland Library at 601-932-1846 or emailing Dewayne at ribm@cmrls.lib.ms.us

Richland Writer's Group
The Richland Writers' Group meets on the first Monday of each month. This month the meeting will be on Monday, January 5, at 6:00 p.m. This group is for aspiring writers looking to connect with other local writers and discuss the craft of writing. Our group meets regularly to share our writing, discuss writing techniques, and provide feedback to other writers to improve our skills. Our group is open to writers of all genres and skill levels. 
 
 
Richland Book Club
The Richland Book Club will be meeting on Thursday, January 29, at 6:00 p.m. The book for January will be picked at our December meeting. Members will discuss what they thought about the book. Since everyone has their own perspective, a book club meeting allows for a healthy flow of insights in an open and friendly environment. People can openly express their thoughts and broaden their understanding of a particular book.
