A Christmas Story by Peter Billingsley
Family Craft Night
Thursday, December 11 at 6:00 p.m.
It's the final days before Christmas in early 1940s Cleveland, and 9-year-old Ralphie wants one thing from Santa Claus more than anything else: a Red Ryder Carbine Action Air Rifle. As he trudges through the snow to school, faces the neighborhood bully and visits a malevolent department store Santa Claus, Ralphie connives, conspires and campaigns for the most fabulous Christmas present ever in this heartwarming, hysterical and sweetly nostalgic holiday film. Based on stories by Jean Sheppard.

This movie is rated PG, and the runtime is 98 minutes. The studio is Warner Bros. We will not have refreshments on hand, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks to the movie.

 Family Craft Night
Swirled Acrylic Ornaments
Thursday, December 11 at 6:00 p.m.

Join us for a fun and festive Family Craft Night! Together, we’ll create beautiful one-of-a-kind swirled glass ornaments using bright acrylic paints. Simply pour and swirl your favorite colors inside clear glass ornaments to make stunning decorations perfect for your tree or for gift-giving.
All supplies will be provided—just bring your creativity and get ready to have fun!

Important Note: Acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing, so please wear an old shirt or bring an apron to protect your clothes. This hands-on activity is perfect for all ages, and no art experience is needed. Come make memories (and a little mess!) with your family this holiday season.

Richland Book Club
Thursday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m.

Members will agree on a book and read it beforehand. After everyone has finished, the group will meet to discuss what they thought about the book. Since everyone has their own perspective, a book club meeting allows for a healthy flow of insights in an open and friendly environment. People can openly express their thoughts and broaden their understanding of a particular book.
