Richland Writer's Group will meet on Monday April, 1st and 15th at 6:00 P.M. Richland Writer's Group is a group of local writers, who meet and discuss the craft of writing. All skill levels are welcome.
National Library Week Luncheon with special guest, author John Shivers, will be on Monday, April 8th at 12:00 P.M. A light lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Richland Library. Registration is required. To register you can call the Richland Library at 601-932-1846.
Library Scrabble Day, will be on Tuesday, April 9th from 10:00 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. Stop by the library and test your word knowledge with a game of scrabble.
Library BINGO will be on Wednesday, April 10th at 3:00 P.M. This is a free program and the winner or winners will get to pick a book from the Friends of the Richland Library book sale.
Craft Night will be on Thursday, April 11th at 6:00 P.M. We will be creating cute spring gifts, using mason jars and candy.
Patron Appreciation Tea will be on Friday, April 12th at 2:00 P.M. As a Thank You to our Patrons we will have refreshments in the entrance of the library.
Color and Conversation will be on Thursday, April 18th at 6:00 P.M. Coloring is not just for kids, join this fun, informal group and let your creativity run wild. You can bring your own coloring book or be inspired by one of our patterns.
Coffee and Books will meet on Tuesday, April 23rd at 10:30 A.M. We will be discussing this month's book selection. The book will be selected at the previous month's meeting.
Saturday, April 13, from 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. It is the first annual Central Comic Con, hosted at the Pearl Public Library, and your are invited to wear your best costume and enjoy all the fun! Local artists, authors, and vendors will be on site, as well as all of your Rankin County libraries hosting some fun events, including: video game tournament, board game tournaments, a video game trailer, mini golf, crafts for kids, and drawing/art workshops, Get here early to enjoy the fun all day long! Food and beverages will be for sale from 10;30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Sales go to the Rankin County Friends of the Libraries' groups.
