Children and Families

Dr. Seuss Breakfast: March 7, we will be having a Dr. Seuss Story Time and breakfast. This is open to all ages and is first come first serve. 
 
Preschool Story Time: Every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., we will have our Preschool Story Time. This month, we will be reading books about Spring.

Family Fun Day: Bring your book knowledge to the Library for Book Jeopardy! We will be playing a book/ library version of Jeopardy on March 14 at 10:00 a.m. 
 
Lego Club: Lego Club will be meeting on March 3 and March 17 at 5:00 p.m. During each session, we will have a project or theme to put our brick building skills to the test! 
 
 
Easter Egg Hunt: On March 28, we will have a Library Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9:30 a.m. for children 6 and under. The Easter Bunny is also stopping by for pictures! 
 
 
Teens
Teen Advisory Board: The Teen Advisory Board will meet on March 16 at 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Story Time Room. We will be going over what teens want to see in the library this summer. 

 
 
Teen Book Club: The Teen Book Club will meet on March 23 at 4:30 p.m. March's theme is Rainy Day Reads. 
 
 
 
Adult & Senior Adult
Movie Mondays: This month, we will be playing a movie on March 9 and on March 23 at 11:00 a.m. The movie on March 9 is Forest Gump, and on March 23 it is Belfast. For more information about these movies, stop by the Forest Public Library or give us a call. 
Forest Gump is rated Pg-13 and has a run time of 142 minutes. It was produced by Paramount Pictures
 
Belfast is a PG-13 rated movie produced by Focus Features and has a run time of 97 minutes. 
 
Retired Readers Book Club: For March, we will be reading a book with an Irish setting. This can be a mystery, a historical fiction, a romance book, or whatever other Irish-themed book you can find. The meeting will be on March 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the small meeting room. 
 
 
Tech Tuesday: This Tech Tuesday, on March 24 at 1:00 p.m., we will be going over AI. We will talk about how to spot if something may be AI-created. This will be the last Tech Tuesday, as we will be working on introducing one-on-one technology lessons.
