National Library Week April 7-13, 2019 Note from Director Mara Villa Polk: National Library Week is an AWESOME way to celebrate libraries. CMRLS offers many different types of programs for everyone. Monday, April 8: State of America's Libraries Report released, including Top Ten Frequently Challenged Books of 2018. Tuesday, April 9: National Library Workers Day, a day for library staff, administrators, and Friends groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers. #nlwd19 Wednesday, April 10: National Bookmobile Day, a day to recognize the contributions of our nation's bookmobiles and the dedicated professionals who make high-quality bookmobile outreach possible in their communities. #BookmobileDay2019 Monday, April 29: All CMRLS libraries will be closed for Team Development Day, we will re-open on Tuesday, April 30 at regular hours.

Magnolia Monday Monday, April 8@ 3:30 p.m. We will be discussing the nominees of the Magnolia Book Awards April 30-May 5 Children's Book Week 100th Anniversary Contest For every children's book your K-6th grade child reads, their name will be entered into a drawing for a jar of candy. The drawing will be May 13th.
