Books Shaped into a Heart
Happy Valentine's Day from CMRLS!

February is Library Lovers Month! This month celebrates YOU and your love for the library! Tell us why you love the library—whether it is because you were able to study in silence for that big test, it is where you found your next big adventure in that thrill-seeking book, you saved hundreds by using the resources at the library, or you used the computers to help you score that amazing job!

This month, be sure to tell your community and elected officials why you LOVE the library and why it is important in your life.

Every year, children and teens across Mississippi are encouraged to vote for their favorite books in the Magnolia Book Award, with titles grouped into four age categories. Voting takes place in February, so be sure to visit your local library to check out these books and cast your vote! This event aims to foster a love for reading and connect young readers with contemporary literature.
