Story Time & Crafts to Go!
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16
Virtual storytimes with take-home crafts will begin Wednesday, September 16 at 10 a.m.! A new storytime video will be posted to our website every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Each video will be available to watch on our website for two weeks at the following link: https://www.mclib.org/parents/story-time/

New take-home crafts will be available every Wednesday to accompany the virtual storytimes. Visit the Youth Services desk to get a take-home storytime craft! For children between birth and 5 years old. Contact the Youth Services department for more info at 219-873-3045.

Kids and teens, join us for a virtual world tour of the seven continents! Each week you can explore a continent in depth. Learn about different countries, languages, and recipes from the area of the globe you “travel” to. A book suggestion list will be available each week, highlighting juvenile and YA fiction related to the featured continent.

Tinkercad Virtual Workshop
Monday, Sept. 21 - Saturday, Sept. 26
This 3D-modeling workshop for kids is 100% online. Participants will have six days to design, tinker, and submit their 3D creations in the virtual MCPL-Tinkercad classroom! To facilitate registered participants in getting started with their Tinkercad projects, Mr. Dave will host a live virtual video conference on Tuesday, September 22 from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Design, remix, and explore your creativity with Tinkercad!
 
This session is for children ages 8-17 and serves as an introduction to anyone that is curious about, or interested in, 3D design, art, and printing. No prior experience necessary. All registered participants will get a free 3D print of their creations (Printing time is limited to 5 hours per participant). MCPL 3D printing rules apply.
