Summer Reading Program Finale: Madcap Puppets
Thursday, July 27, 10:00 am
Library
We’re celebrating the end of the Summer Reading Program with Madcap Puppets! These wild, wacky, and larger-than-life puppets will have everyone roaring with laughter as they present “The Monsters of Baseball.” The sign at the ballpark says “No Monsters Allowed!”, but that doesn’t stop Roscoe from sneaking a little monster named Gus in to see a baseball game. It seems they’re not alone as more monsters begin slipping into the ballpark to join the fun. Giant puppets bring the history and tradition of baseball alive through songs, stories, and poems. There’s room for everyone, including the audience, to celebrate America’s favorite past time.
