Library Hours & Closings The library will open at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, due to a staff meeting. In addition, we will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. The library will be closed on Sundays beginning May 26 through September 1.

Makerspace Open Lab Hours

Create, discover, and tinker with LEGO WeDo, Micro Bits, paper circuits, Ozobots, and more! For kids ages 6 - 18. Kids 12 and under must have a parent or guardian attend the session with them.

CoderDojo

Makerspace
Join us for CoderDojo, our free coding club for ages 8-18! We’ll be exploring all kinds of programming, using Ozobots, Spheros, Chibi Chips, and 3D modeling. We will use coding tools such as Scratch, Hopscotch, and MakeCode. Build, share ideas, and learn along the way. Kids 12 and under must have a parent attend the session with them. Pokemon Go Community Day

Graphic Novel Club: Shazam

Join our Graphic Novel Club, suggested for teens ages 13-18. We’ve talked about Marvel’s Captain Marvel. Now let’s meet DC’s Captain Marvel in Shazam by Jeff Smith. Billy Batson was just an ordinary kid until he met a wizard who granted him the power to thwart evil wherever it arises. Join us as we read the Monster Society of Evil in May. 1,000 Books before Kindergarten
Register at any time for this free program designed to promote language development and a love of reading in young children. Your child will receive a special surprise (choice of an age-appropriate book or CD) for each set of 100 books that are read to them (or that they read on their own). For children ages birth through entering kindergarten.
