Join us for a summer of fun based around The Devil at His Elbow by Valerie Bauerlein. This program culminates with a visit from the author on August 23rd. Starting June 1 - visit your local branch to pick up a free copy of the book for you to keep! Join us on Beanstack to keep track of your summer reading and complete cool library activities to be entered into a raffle for great prizes, such as tickets to the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, a Library Tote Bag, Coffee Mug, Tumbler, or Bluetooth Speaker! Sea Turtle 911 Presented by Fort Fisher Aquarium

Sea Turtles need our help STAT! Participants discover some of the challenges that these protected species face by taking on the roles of sea turtle Veterinarians. Together we diagnose our sea turtle patients' injury or illness and we discuss the best treatment so that our patients can return to the sea. No live sea turtles are included in this presentation, though their land and freshwater turtle friends will visit to aid in understanding characteristics and adaptations that each type of turtle needs for life in its habitat.
