We're Getting Ready for the Bling Bling Sale Your Used Jewelry Is Needed

The White Oak Library Foundation's annual used jewelry sale is in September. We depend on all of the great donations we receive from our patrons and neighbors to make the Bling Bling Sale a successful fundraiser for the Library. So, if you have costume, vintage, or gold, silver or gemstone jewelry that you no longer want, please consider donating it to our cause. We also accept jewelry boxes and gently used designer handbags.

You may drop off donations all summer beginning June 1st at any of our branch libraries. Look for the pink collection boxes near the Circulation Desks. If you intend to donate, please do so by August 31st to give us time to sort and price for the September 25th, 26th and 27th Sale Days. Questions can be emailed to whiteoakfound@gmail.com.

Donations Needed!

Books, Movies, Music CDs, etc.

We are always looking for donations of high quality materials. If we can use them in the library’s collections we will, otherwise the Friends of the Library will use them in one of their book sales. In certain circumstances you may even gain a tax benefit from this type of donation. You can drop these off at any of our 3 Branches.

Some examples of donations we would like to have include:

Materials in good-to-perfect condition.
Hard cover “best-seller” books.
BLU-Rays / DVDs of “blockbuster” movies.
Music CDs of popular or award winning artists
Children’s books - especially classics – but anything that is in good-to-perfect condition.
