Wednesday, August 30, 7:00 pm The iconic Monarch butterfly was a frequent visitor to our gardens in years past and always gave us pause to wonder and enjoy their beauty. This program will be all about Monarchs, including their amazing and inspiring life cycle and their 2,000 mile migration. We will learn about their challenges, which have resulted in a nearly 90% drop in their population. We will also learn about the simple ways each one of us can help their population recover and how to attract them back to the garden. With luck, we'll have live Monarch eggs, caterpillars, chrysalis, and adults on display. Register at the library or by calling 717-766-0171.
